During July and August this year, as a Parish we remembered a number of special occasions in our Parish Life in order to once again maintain a sense of normality in these still uncertain times.
At the beginning of July we remembered the First Anniversary of our Outdoor/Car Park Masses in the grounds of St Joseph’s. Where did that year go?
On Sunday 25th July we celebrated the First World Day of Prayer for Grandparents and the Elederly. Our outdoor shrine to Our Lady was suitably decorated for this occasion.
The Month of August is the month when we remember Feast Days associated with Our Lady. The Feast of the Assumption on the 15th August and Our Lady of Knock on 17th August. The shrines to Our Lady in both Churches were decorated for these occasions and the outdoor shrine at St Joseph’s which is dedicated to Our Lady of Knock was looking very colourful.
